Nevada teenager injured in pedestrian accident

Nevada roadways are no stranger to a pedestrian accident. There have been many recently, and all with different circumstances. Some of the pedestrian accidents have occurred as a result of negligence by the pedestrian. Many ran across roadways without looking, failing to use crosswalks and even thinking they could beat a car across the roadway. The saddest of all instances, though, are when the pedestrian accident happened even though they were utilizing crosswalks.

One teenage boy is unfortunately suffering in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being involved in a terrible pedestrian accident. The 17-year-old was allegedly attempting to cross a roadway early one morning, but much like many other pedestrian accidents, he did not make it across. He was hit by a vehicle in the process.

The boy had to be rushed to the hospital after suffering catastrophic injuries. This was allegedly not a case of the boy attempting to cross the road negligently. He was utilizing the crosswalk at the time of the accident and was hit by a vehicle anyway. Luckily, the driver stayed on the scene of the accident.

Although the boy suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident, he and his family may have legal options to consider. It may be beneficial for the family and the boy to not take this Nevada pedestrian accident lightly. They may wish to attempt to ensure that the driver is held responsible, if proven negligent for his or her actions. If the driver is found to be at fault and litigation is successful, the boy may be entitled to certain financial restitution from the driver.
