Being aware of other vehicles and one’s surroundings while behind the wheel of an automobile is extremely important when traveling any of Nevada’s busy roads and intersections. Even while practicing safe driving habits, accidents are unavoidable and can often end tragically. Sadly, a recent motor vehicle crash claimed the life of a young motorcyclist.

The victim was traveling westbound on the road when a car suddenly pulled out in front of him. The 23-year-old motorcycle rider then collided with the automobile. According to the coroner’s office, the victim suffered several injuries to multiple areas of his body. Unfortunately, the injuries ultimately resulted in the death of the young man.

An 11-year-old passenger was traveling in the rear seat of the vehicle when it was struck from behind and was critically injured. One adult received minor injuries while another passenger was uninjured according to the reports. The driver could possibly end up facing civil charges once the investigation into this unfortunate incident is complete.

The victim’s family is most likely in a state of devastation and shock after learning of the horrific news. Nevada residents who have lost a loved one to any form of motor vehicle crash caused by a negligent driver may be entitled to file a wrongful death claim. Any monetary damages awarded to the family of the victim after a successful law suit can be used toward funeral and burial expenses. The compensation can also be used to help ease the deceased victim’s family’s pain and suffering.
