The Nevada Highway Patrol had to temporarily close the eastbound lanes of Interstate 215 due to a crash between a pickup truck and a motorcycle. The accident happened on June 27, 2015, at 4:12 a.m. near Aliante Parkway. This motor vehicle crash is being investigated by the Nevada Highway Patrol.

A pickup truck was traveling westbound on the interstate when the driver crossed into the path of two motorcycles. To do this, he had to cross a raised median that was 12 feet wide. One of the motorcycles managed to avoid being hit by the truck.

The pickup truck hit the other motorcycle which was traveling eastbound. When the two collided, the rider of the motorcycle was thrown off the bike. The truck and motorcycle were engulfed in flames.

The 40-year-old male on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. There was a man and a woman in the pickup truck. They were both transported to a medical center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

A motor vehicle crash such as this one can leave family members left behind not knowing exactly what they are supposed to do or how to go about taking care of the final expenses of their loved ones. A Nevada attorney can often help put things in order and can give available options. These options could include filing a civil suit in a Nevada court against the driver of the pickup truck for wrongful death to help pay for final expenses and pain and suffering. If the driver of the truck is convicted of negligence, the claim against him will be stronger.
