Recently, a crash in Wells claimed the life of one man and injured another. The accident occurred on US 93 during the early evening hours. Reportedly, a Jeep traveling south crossed the centerline of the roadway and sideswiped a northbound pickup truck. The jeep ran off the shoulder of the road and overturned, reports said.
According to police, the pickup truck also overturned off the shoulder. Police reports said the driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the jeep suffered only minor injuries, authorities said. The Nevada Highway Patrol said the driver of the jeep was at fault in the accident, but charges will not be filed until accident investigations are concluded.
