Las Vegas is seeing more and more pedestrian accidents

Every person is a pedestrian at some point. Walking is a primary form of transportation in Nevada cities like Las Vegas and pedestrians are literally everywhere 24 hours a day. This is one of many reasons why pedestrian safety is such a big concern these days. Despite significant progress in pedestrian safety measures, pedestrian accidents are increasing every year. A recent accident in Las Vegas affected a pedestrian and his dog.

Serious injuries often accompany motorcycle accidents

There's no doubt that motorcycles can be dangerous. Although motorcycles can be a fun way to travel in Nevada, those who ride motorcycles are confronted with unique dangers that are not present for other motorists. According to statistics, motorcyclists are 5 times more likely to be injured in a crash than those in passenger vehicles. Motorcyclists are minimally protected, so when motorcycle accidents happen, they are more likely to result in serious injury or death.

Car accidents: Tragic Reno crash claims 3 lives

Three men lost their lives recently in a gruesome accident in Reno. Unfortunately, fatal car accidents like this are happening more and more across the state of Nevada. The wrong-way crash happened at night along SR-431. The Nevada Highway Patrol is still seeking information and additional witnesses to the accident.

Frequently congested roads have led to more car wrecks

The state of Nevada is experiencing a population boom and rightfully so, as people from all over the world move here to take advantage of the great climate and seemingly endless economic opportunities. Las Vegas, in particular, is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country. Because of this rapid growth, roads in Las Vegas have become over crowded and are frequently congested. Due to the high volumes of traffic, car wrecks are happening more and more.
